We shoot finished landscapes for the contractors who built them.
The Landscape Lens is a boutique photography company for landscape contractors across Austin. For the past ten years we have photographed finished projects for Mario Canales Landscape, and those photos are the standard we bring to every shoot.
When Mario Canales Landscape came to us, the company was already doing well. The work was strong, but you could not tell from the pictures: their website and proposals ran on quick iPhone photos that made high-end projects look ordinary. They were starting to feel something we already understood. At the level of jobs they wanted, aesthetics matter, because clients judge the work by the photos in front of them.
So we started shooting every finished job professionally. Each shoot gave them a portfolio they could put in front of the next prospect, and each portfolio built trust a little faster. Bigger jobs followed, then bigger ones, and the company’s revenue grew with them year after year. After ten years of that, we are opening the same service to other Austin contractors who want a story like it.

Thirty professionally edited photos of your finished project: wide views of every space, close-ups of the details, and several angles of the hero shot. Ready to drop into your website, your socials, and your next proposal.
A single shoot is $250. The monthly retainer is $500 a month and covers three shoots a month. Same shoot and the same 30 edited photos either way.
Have the project finished and cleaned up: tools and trash off site, hoses coiled, vehicles moved, the pool cleaned and running, and the furniture in place. The better it looks when we arrive, the better it photographs.
You tell us when projects wrap, and we come out three times a month to shoot them. Every finished job gets documented while it looks its best, and your library of finished work grows month after month.

Ways to work together
One-off or every month, the process is the same. You tell us when a project wraps, and we handle the rest.
When a project wraps, pick a day while it still looks its best: plants fresh, surfaces clean, nothing faded or worn in yet. Book a single shoot for one project, or keep us on retainer and we come out three times a month, so every finished job gets its day.
We start with a walk of the whole property to plan the angles, then shoot it the way a client walks it: arrival first, then the main spaces, then the details. Nothing gets skipped. If your crew built it, we photograph it.
Every shoot delivers 30 professionally edited photos. We balance the color and light across the whole set and straighten every line, so the work looks on screen the way it looked the day you finished it.
